President's Message

Greg Roderick photoDear Friends of Frontier Management:

This is such a wonderful time of year!  The St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series, the holiday season is upon us and a time when we get to see family and friends more than during other times of the year.  The Autumn and Winter months are a time of year when we are able to look back and appreciate what we have and a time to prepare for tomorrow’s challenges and successes.

Most recently, we held our Employee of the Year and the Resident of the Year celebrations.  Jose Garcia, Director of Maintenance at The Pavilion at Great Hills in Austin, Texas was awarded as the Employee of the Year.  Knowing him on a personal level, I cannot be more pleased with his way of serving seniors, how well he works with his teammates and I cannot help but feel good about how deserving he was to be recognized.  Our Resident of the Year is Mavis Luehrs of Where The Heart Is in Burlington, Washington.  Mavis is an outstanding human being, a tirelessly generous and giving person, humble as the day is long and the kind of person anyone would be privileged to become acquainted with for hours on end.  We are so honored to have these people represent our entire Company!

We have recently opened Washington Gardens Memory Care in Tigard, Oregon and we are so excited to welcome Edmonds Landing Assisted Living (Edmonds, WA) and Bay Pointe Assisted Living (Bremerton, WA) and Marine Courte Memory Care (Bremerton, WA).   2011 has been a tremendous year of growth but 2012 will also have many new communities breaking-ground in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nevada, Oregon and Texas.

As a Company, we are strengthening our Culture with Family Appreciation events, Staffing Recognition and Satisfaction programs and with our involvement in Community Groups, Organizations, Charities and Services as a good steward.  Recently, we hosted dozens of Safe House Trick-or-Treating during Halloween, a drop site for Toys For Tots, Food Banks and Jackets/Blankets for those in need at most of our locations.  We believe strongly in giving back, having a happy and motivated team and being involved with the residents and their families at every opportunity.

I want to wish you, your family and your friends a very safe, warm and wonderful Holiday Season and thank you for being a Friend of Frontier Management.

Kindest Regards,

Gregory A. Roderick
