President's Message
Dear Friends of Frontier:
What a warm or hot summer we are having, depending on your location. This summer has been filled with a great deal of travel to our many locations across the country and to my children’s sporting events from coast to coast. Our travels have included visiting The Pavilion at Great Hills to celebrate its 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration, the addition of Southlake Village in Lexington, SC, and to Southern California and Arizona for the development of our Indio, CA and Oro Valley, AZ developments. I have also been to Bothell, WA, Baltimore, Maryland and Coronado Island, CA for lacrosse tournaments.
We are just weeks away from announcing the Frontier Employee of the Year, the Frontier Resident of the Year, the Frontier Executive Director of the Year and the Frontier Marketing Director of the Year. These are special people whom have demonstrated outstanding qualities, leadership and set the high standards that we are all able to work toward. Events, celebrations and awards will be announced soon. These awards are just some of the features here at Frontier Management, but we continue to place the value, training, respect and appreciation of our wonderful employees as a paramount and fundamental value system within our Company, each and every day. Our goal is simply to make the workday for each of our employees the very best hours of their day – a positive working environment, good and consistent leadership and recognition for a job well done.
There are two communities currently under construction, Magnolia Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care in Spring, Texas with 60-units of Assisted Living and 48-units of Memory Care. Also, Mt. Bachelor Memory Care in Bend, Oregon with 56-units of Memory Care. Each one is expected to open mid-2013. We have recently assumed the management of Southlake Village Retirement Residence in Lexington, South Carolina and look forward to growing this new territory. There are many more new properties to announce soon as we continue to move toward ground-breaking in California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, and other areas.
We would like to wish our friend and team member, Christie Jackson, a wonderful retirement. After nearly 12-years at Frontier Management, she and her husband Tim are off to enjoy time with friends and family and see the many wonderful corners of the United States. Christie has been a vital and key member of our Frontier family as our Receptionist, Marketing Assistant and Office Manager. She has many years of experience as an Executive Director of retirement communities and has a real knack with marketing and activities. Her tenacious personality always kept the Company driving toward growth and success. She loves senior citizens, our many employees and what we do. Her legacy and spirit will most certainly live on and we look forward to her coming by when in town from the latest adventure.
