I received your wonderful and thoughtful card the other day, thank you.  It has never escaped my thoughts how much goodness, kindness and professional skill goes into the care of your residents and I am making arrangements to find a way to express my gratitude.  It can’t be Oprah-like, but certainly heartfelt.

Please know that she would have loved you all and told you so if she could have.  Please know as you reached out to help her with her daily life and routines that she would have gladly tried to do the same for you or find some way to say thanks.  I never once knew of her not returning a kindness or offering up a smile and kind word.

I always took comfort in knowing the people at HomePlace really understood their charge and executed without fail for the benefit of my Mother and those like her.  I wish the whole world was like that.  Thank you so very much.

You provided a very high level of care throughout her stay and especially during her difficult last five days of life It was a real pleasure to get to know each of you; my wife and I always felt very welcome at HomePlace.
