The HomePlace Bungalo is a unique addition to HomePlace Special Care in Burlington. The Bungalo is a small, intimate community that can house up to 14 residents comfortably. It consists of a small dining room, kitchen and living room, as well as its own courtyard and walking path.
The Bungalo is a comfortable transition place for those with early to middle stages of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. The Bungalo serves as a bridge between the Cottage at Where The Heart Is and other assisted living communities and HomePlace Special Care. The residents who live at the Bungalo are not quite ready for HomePlace, but need a bit more assistance than their current care can provide.
