| Jim Pryts has an Associate of Arts degree from Napa Valley College in Napa, California. He owned and operated a full service photographic business in the San Francisco Bay Area for 28 years. He worked with his wife, Marlene, for Holiday Retirement Corporation, and was a 911 and police radio dispatcher for the City of Weed, California. He plays guitar, and banjo professionally. He and his wife Marlene became assistant managers at Cherry Heights in July, 2007 and managers, on March 1, 2008.
Marlene Pryts went to school at Northern Michigan University, and received a diploma in Practical Nursing. She worked as an LPN in Upper Michigan, and Minnesota. For a short period of time she worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the Napa Valley. She attended Napa Valley College for continuing education, then attended Western Career College in Sacramento to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She worked in that field for 19 years, and for 10 of those years she was a back office manager. Marlene attended the College of Marin in Marin, California, and received a certificate for Activity Director. She has had training in dementias and Alzheimer’s disease. |
