| Residents at Aspen Ridge Retirement Residence and Aspen Ridge Memory Care, John and Genevieve Stout were honored on their Diamond Anniversary, New Year’s Eve. Four generations of family members gathered to share the joy of the day and to pay tribute to a very special couple. The theme of the celebration was “Heart’s that love deeply can never grow old!”
Although John has Alzheimer’s Disease, he still knows Genevieve. His eyes light up when she is near. The love they share is obvious to anyone observing them. During their surprise party, John and Genevieve were serenaded with love songs that brought smiles to their faces, and more than a few tears to guests’ eyes. In this day and age, seventy five years of living is quite an accomplishment - seventy five years of marriage is a triumph! |
