Community, Frontier CEO Receive Alzheimer's Tree of Reflection Award

The Alzheimer's/Dementia Connection of Havasu held its annual "Tree of Reflection Dedication Ceremony" on Sunday, December 11. Lake View Terrace Memory Care Community and its management company, Frontier Management CEO, Greg Roderick both received awards. They were honored for their "contribution to the continuing support and education of the families and residents involved with Alzheimer's disease and dementia."

Lake View Terrace Memory Care Executive Director DeAndra Wooldridge accepted the award on behalf of Lake View Terrace. June Sulffridge, Regional Vice President for Frontier Management, accepted Mr. Roderick's award on his behalf.
Shauna Shockley, Marketing Director for Lake View Terrace, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer's/Dementia Connection of Havasu.

The ceremony was very moving.  The key speaker was the wife of a resident at Lake View Terrace.  Her speech was based on the "love story" she and her husband have had all these years and that still continues even though he is fading. She stressed how important it is to stay involved with loved ones: "Don't leave them before they leave you."

The Pavilion at Great Hills Among Top 50 Assisted Living Facilities in Texas

Assisted Living Today has honored The Pavilion at Great Hills by ranking them thirteenth among their choice of the top fifty Assisted Living communities in Texas.

Frontier to Manage Three Washington Communities

Frontier Management, LLC has been selected to become the management company for Bay Pointe Assisted Living, Marine Courte Memory Care and Edmonds Landing Assisted Living Bay Pointe Assisted Living and Marine Courte Memory Care are located in Bremerton, Washington and Edmonds Landing Assisted Living is located in Edmonds, Washington. "We are extremely pleased to become involved with these three communities and offer assisted living and memory care services in Bremerton and Edmonds," shared Greg Roderick, President/CEO of Frontier.

Bay Pointe Assisted Living and Marine Courte Memory Care offer a total of 93 apartments for assisted living and memory care. Washington Gardens Brings Specialized Dementia Care to Southwest Portland

Frontier Management is pleased to announce the addition of Washington Gardens Memory Care in Tigard, Oregon to its family of communities. Located off of Oleson Road in Tigard, Washington Gardens is a newly built, 48 bed community scheduled to open in early October in order to bring the finest in dementia care to seniors in Southwest Portland. Frontier Management Names Nathan Emge as Executive Director of The Year

During Frontier Management’s 2011 Annual Manager Meeting in July, Frontier’s President & CEO, Greg Roderick, announced the winner of the Executive Director of The Year for 2011.

“Our Company is fortunate to have so many talented Executive Directors and therefore our selection process was extremely difficult,” shared Greg Roderick, President & CEO. "After reviewing Frontier’s Mission Statement and Values, one Executive Director definitely stood out over the past 12 months and deserved the nomination of Executive Director of The Year. The award winner was Nathan Emge at Princeton Village Assisted Living located in Clackamas, OR.”

Nathan Emge has been the Executive Director at Princeton Village since mid-2009. During Nathan’s leadership at the community, he has focused on quality resident services, supported an interior/exterior remodel project, mentored his department managers and staff, and create a positive environment for his residents.

“Nathan’s positive attitude and can-do spirit make him a special manager at Princeton Village,” stated Matthew Dunham, Exec. V.P. “When you walk into Princeton Village, Nathan and his team embrace you with excellent customer service and a sense of warmth.”

After receiving the award, Nathan expressed that he is unable to manage a wonderful community all by himself… it is his entire team that deserves recognition. Washington Gardens Memory Care Residence Construction On-Track

Frontier Management, LLC, the management company for Washington Gardens Memory Care Residence located at 8950 SW Oleson Rd., Tigard, Oregon, today confirms that its newest memory care community will open on schedule in early Fall 2011.

Seabold Construction Co. of Beaverton, Oregon is the general contractor for the project, financing was provided by Wells Fargo Bank, NA and the architectural design by LRS Architects, Inc. of Portland, Oregon.

Washington Gardens Memory Care Residence is located north of SW Hall Blvd. at the corner of SW 91st Ave., amongst the tall fir trees in a quiet neighborhood and close to Washington Square.

Long Term Care Professional Provider Lists Frontier Management among Top 40

Frontier Management, LLC is among newcomers to The Provider survey list of Top 40 largest Assisted Living Companies in 2010. Frontier Management is the owner-operator of 41 assisted living communities, serving 2,547 residents, and holds the 18th largest assisted living company according to the survey. "It is an honor to be among such an elite group of companies serving assisted living residents," states Greg Roderick, CEO/President of Frontier.

The Provider compiles a list of the top assisted living communities every year with their report appearing in the magazine June issue. Author of the article, Lisa Gelhaus states: Assisted living providers are optimistic about the future, according to the top 40 largest assisted living companies.

The trend in shown with the reporting of 17 companies offering hospice services, 17 offering home care, and 12 offering pharmacy services.

Frontier Management, LLC Named Top Senior Living Provider

Frontier Management is has been ranked 30th among the top 80 senior living providers in the United States by Assisted Living Executive magazine.

Assisted Living Executive expanded their list this year to track the largest for-profit owner-operators based on a combination of independent living, assisted living, and memory care as well as top-provider lists in each category. "This year's list also reflects how far the sector has come in a relatively short period of time," states writer Anya Martin.

As of January 1, 2011, the article states the top 80-for profit senior living providers accounted for a total resident capacity of 460,673, with a capacity of approximately 200,000 in independent living and 256,000 in licensed assisted living. Of the assisted living capacity, approximately 17 percent is memory care.

Frontier to Manage Wilshire Place Senior Living

Pelican Pointe Completes Expansion of Memory Care

Pelican Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care has completed its expansion of the memory care program from 24-apartments to 48-apartments, bringing the total to 64-assisted living and 48-memory care total apartments. "This is a terrific expansion for Klamath Falls and demonstrates our commitment to the area and to seniors suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other related forms of dementia," stated Matthew Dunham.
